Background Information and Coaching Experience
John trained initially as a teacher and used this background to head a social work training centre. Having also qualified as a psychologist he then moved on to be a principal psychologist leading a number of innovative health teams in Australia and NZ. John has a held a number of senior government positions including being the director of a drug and alcohol bureau.
For the past fifteen years John has worked as an executive coach based on Auckland’s North Shore.

John assists leaders to be more resilient, handle people effectively, have a balanced life, return to core values, review and shape the organisational culture while having some fun in the middle of all this.
Major Achievements as a Corporate Coach
John is recognised a leader in the NZ coaching profession and supervises a number of other coaches who work in corporate, not for profit and university settings.
John is a Board Member on the Man Alive trust.
