Comments

  • A hugely valuable course - definitely have taken on board a number of additional 'tools' to add to my coaching toolkit.
  • Good contribution from each of Iain and John.  Would have liked a bit more reiteration of key ACT techniques (to aid my learning), and particularly - when to use them, and when not to use them
  • Thank you Iain for a great course. Very nice to learn some skills to help people reduce stress and anxiety - which a typical couching framework may not to cover. Was especially valuable to have a couple of hours at the end to practise an actual coaching session.
  • Enjoyed the sessions, presenters and the great people at the course. I would like to have gone away with a better practical understanding of a coaching model and the techniques. For example; Cover each aspect of acceptance - defusion, active acceptance and observing self; and commitment; practice the individual techniques for each and then put then together gradually building on understanding of each technique until have the whole model - hope that makes sense.
  • Good pace, great use of humour and personal anecdotes by presenters.  Very clear explanations and appropriate practical exercises.  Good opportunity to network informally.
  • I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the way Iain and John embedded the ACT framework in the executive coaching practice. Most notably, I appreciated that you not only talked about ACT framework and principles but also demonstrated them in the way you facilitated.
  • The workshop was truly inspirational and I left it with the strong desire to find coachees with whom I can work using the principles and elements Iain and John shared with us.
  • Would have been good to have seen a demonstration of each ACT technique in action.
